Got a spare $700 million? I know two brothers you could make very happy. After laying off the last of the staff from Miramax, Disney has now announced that they’re putting the studios’ assets up for sale. Most likely suitor is Summit, which has produced the “Twilight” film series and just happens to have some cash lying around right now.  Gee, I wonder why?

Maybe they want to buy the Weinstein brothers studios and give them back their old label to run. That would be a Hollywood fairytale ending.
